Name 12 men who can keep a secret..

or a lie.

Loose lips sink ships. It’s well known that there’s no such thing as a secret because once the second person knows they almost immediately tell someone else. It’s human nature. Secret Societies aren’t secret for long, someone gives into the temptation of revealing what they know.

Lies are the same way, a conspiracy will never survive past initial interrogation because someone will talk.

The Watergate scandal was revealed because 12 men couldn’t maintain a lie for three weeks.

So... you expect me to believe that 12 misfits (Disicples) kept the same lie for 40 years?

Through intense interrogation, imprisonment, even death?

Proposterous.

Borrowed from;

Charles W. Colson

“I know the resurrection is a fact, and Watergate proved it to me. How? Because 12 men testified they had seen Jesus raised from the dead, then they proclaimed that truth for 40 years, never once denying it. Every one was beaten, tortured, stoned and put in prison. They would not have endured that if it weren't true. Watergate embroiled 12 of the most powerful men in the world-and they couldn't keep a lie for three weeks. You're telling me 12 apostles could keep a lie for 40 years? Absolutely impossible.”

Who Killed Jesus?

“He said, “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the ruling kohanim and the Torah scholars. They will condemn Him to death and hand Him over to the Gentiles. They will mock Him and spit on Him, scourge Him and kill Him. Yet after three days, He will rise again!””

I was raised believing the Jews killed Jesus, which was the prevalent belief amongst the Christian church, my question is this; could these folks not read?

And just in case you assumed these words are only in the “Jewish friendly” Tree of Life version, here it is in the King James.

“Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:33-34‬ ‭KJV‬‬
